What we can offer your dogs?
Here at Maggie’s Mates, we want to create an environment where dogs don’t want to go home! A place they can spend their days playing with friends, following their noses and exploring activities that have been created to exercise their minds as well as their bodies!
It is hugely important to us that all of our dogs are happy and comfortable in our day care centre and dog walking groups so that they, and their owners, can get the best out of the services we offer. Due to this, it does mean that we cannot accept all dogs. What we offer doesn’t suit everyone, some dogs can find our environment over stimulating. Our ‘meet and greets’ and ‘trial day’ approach ensures that the dogs in our care will thrive and play happily with others. We want you to know that your dogs safety and happiness is at the forefront of everything that we do.
Daycare
£30 a day
We are so lucky to be able to bring such a fantastic service to the area. Our centre has been purpose built to the highest standard which is reflected in our license rating. We managed to achieve the top rating available!!
What is included in our daycare package?
The ability to roam off lead safely inside and out all-day
A daily schedule that includes nap time, play time, training, set time for long walks, enrichment areas, trail sniffing and social interaction with other dogs and humans
Custom-built, fully insulated and heated buildings with air conditioning for the summer months and comfy beds provided
Pools, activities, games, social interaction and time set out for mental stimulation, where we use games to keep the dogs focused and listening throughout the day
Dogs are supervised all day and are never left alone during their time with us
Each group of dogs will have their own member of staff who’s soul job is to keep them happy, stimulated and monitored throughout the day
Dogs are not crated unless this is a request from an owner to mirror a sleeping area at home.

We are fully SKDC animal welfare licensed and insured including public liability
Please note this service is only for very sociable dogs, any dogs that do not pass our induction day will sadly not be accepted into daycare. This is hugely important to us for the safety of both our staff and the other dogs!
Safe Farm Walks
£15 per walk
Our farm walks are all on private land, meaning your dogs can run off all of their excess energy safely and securely with no footpaths in sight!
What is included in our farm walks?
Dogs will be picked up and dropped off in our specially crated air conditioned vans. Owners will be given a time slot so they know when we are coming.
On average dogs will be out of the house around 2 hours, this takes into account a full hours walk as well as drop off and pick up times.
The ability to run, explore and play safely off lead with all their friends in woodland, rivers and streams for a full hour.
Dogs are supervised at all times and are never left alone during their time with us.
Each group will have their own member of staff who is responsible for keeping them happy, stimulated and enjoying themselves on their walk.
A warm water wash-down hut where owners can request to have dogs bathed before returning home at an extra cost.
